Spitting the dummy…
Well, I’ve made good progress, but stuck when arriving at p182. Part III: real Rails. Listing 9-2 on the next page has a ‘require_gem…’ at the start of the page and try as I may i can’t get past this.Â

Apple Safari for Windows
I’ve just installed Safari (Apple’s web browser) for Windows (beta) and it’s rendering pages a lot faster than IE7 and maybe faster than Firefox. I’ll grab the OSX version and see if that’s faster than v2.

I’ve plugged in two stats packages, one from WordPress.com which publishes davidbanes.com stats on WordPress.com and another (WP-ShortStat) that keeps simple stats on the blog linked from the dashboard.
