‘Avaya nabbed the deal through an unconventional new sales model — Twitter.
According to eWay chief executive Matt Bullock, he was evaluating voice solutions and narrowed his choice to two providers.
“I decided to send out a tweet to see if I could get feedback on who had experiences with these companies,” Mr Bullock said.
To his surprise, Avaya responded within 24 hours. “And within 48 hours (I) had spoken with Avaya and its business partner Fredon.”‘
